The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) conducted six provincial immigration draws between February 6 and February 19, 2026, inviting hundreds of candidates across multiple targeted streams.

During this two-week period, Alberta issued a total of 441 invitations to apply for provincial nomination through a mix of Express Entry–aligned pathways and regional immigration streams.

What This Means for Candidates

Alberta continues to prioritize sector-based and region-specific immigration in 2026, particularly in technology, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, rural communities, and law enforcement.

With thousands of nomination spaces still available, additional draws are expected throughout the year across various streams.

Candidates considering Alberta immigration should closely monitor stream-specific requirements and evolving eligibility criteria.
