Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) – Greater Sudbury
Greater Sudbury participates in Canada’s Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP), an employer-driven pathway that helps address labour shortages in designated rural communities. The program targets specific sectors and occupations to attract skilled foreign workers who wish to settle permanently in the region.
Priority Sectors in Sudbury’s RCIP
Only employers operating within the following sectors can become designated employers under the Sudbury RCIP and hire foreign workers through the program:
