Skilled Workers and Entrepreneurs Receive Invitations in BC PNP Draw
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has once again issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination, continuing its efforts to attract both skilled professionals and entrepreneurs to the province.
This latest round of invitations, held on October 2, 2025, targeted candidates under two immigration categories:
Skills Immigration
Entrepreneur Immigration

To date in 2025, the BC PNP has issued 568 invitations under its Skills Immigration category and 86 invitations under the Entrepreneur Immigration category.
Skills Immigration Draw
This draw marked the first Skills Immigration round since May 8, 2025, demonstrating renewed demand for highly qualified workers across British Columbia.
Candidates were invited under two sets of criteria:

According to the BC PNP, future draws may depend on several key factors, including:
Education and qualifications
Professional designations in BC
Language proficiency (English/French)
Work experience and occupation type
Wage or skill level of job offer
Intention to settle in a specific BC region
Strategic priorities and labour market needs
🧭 Note: Under Canada’s NOC system, occupations are ranked from TEER 0 (highest skilled) to TEER 5 (lowest skilled) based on training, education, experience, and responsibilities.
Entrepreneur Immigration Draw
Alongside skilled workers, BC also invited 11 entrepreneurs under its Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Stream, marking the seventh entrepreneur draw of the year.

To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum registration score of 115 and satisfy all other stream requirements.
Key Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum net worth: CAD $600,000
Business experience:
3 years as a business owner-manager, or
4 years as a senior manager, or
1 year as owner-manager + 2 years as senior manager
Investment capacity: At least $200,000 in the business
Language requirement: Minimum CLB 4
Education: Post-secondary credential (or use this in place of business experience)
Ownership: At least 33.3% ownership, or 100% if using education in lieu of experience
Job creation: Minimum of 1 full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
💡 Note: Applicants who do not meet the business experience requirement can substitute it with proof of eligible education.
